American type cases are formed automatically, by folding the 4 bottom flaps. The folding system’s performance is assured by the perfect synchronous lever movements. The suction cup system is actioned by a venturi group, which picks up the carton blank from the side magazine and holds it during opening. After forming the carton, the base is ready to be taped or glued and then sent to be filled and then the top flaps are sealed by tape or glue.
